Top-quality Healthcare
Your health—and the health of your loved ones—is the most important aspect of your life. So you want to trust only the best, most qualified providers with your care. Each of Mercy Urgent Care’s seven locations is staffed with certified, licensed and highly-trained healthcare professionals who provide treatment for more than 60,000 service visits each year.
Care You Can Afford
Quality care doesn’t have to be expensive. Mercy Urgent Care will give you the care you need and want regardless of your ability to pay. A visit to Mercy Urgent Care is far less expensive than a trip to the emergency room, and you can choose from three different ways to pay: 1) Self-pay. We have a simplified pricing structure for four common tiers of service. 2) Insurance. We accept most private insurance including Blue Cross Blue Shield, as well as Medicare and Medicare Advantage. 3) Financial Assistance. Our Compassionate Care program provides assistance with your bill so you can get the care you need, regardless of your means.
Care Where You Need It
Wherever you live, work, or play, Mercy Urgent Care is close by. Our fully-staffed facilities are in North, South, East, and West Asheville, plus Brevard and Burnsville. Wherever you may need us, we’re there. Most of our centers are open seven days a week, 362 days a year. We also provide on-site occupational, workplace services throughout the region.
Connected to Our Community
Mercy Urgent Care was founded in Asheville in 1985 as an outreach of the Sisters of Mercy, an international religious institute of Roman Catholic women, begun in 1831 in Dublin, Ireland. We are committed to providing quality care to all who need it, and have been recognized by the Urgent Care Association of America with its Humanitarian Award for volunteer medical contributions to our community. We are proud to be a Just Economics Living Wage Certified Employer, and provide more than 90 jobs to people in our community.
Committed to Helping
Although you can choose from several urgent care providers in the area, Mercy Urgent Care is a not-for-profit health care provider, which means our focus is exclusively on your care and your outcome, not on quarterly dividends.
You’re Part of Our Story
We provide quality healthcare for anyone in Western North Carolina who needs it. Any income that Mercy Urgent Care generates is returned to the community through lower prices and charity care. As opposed to paying shareholders.
