Mercy Urgent Care Announces New Location in Waynesville

Mercy Urgent Care is pleased to announce its newest facility, opening in Waynesville in early 2020.

Conveniently located just off Exit 102 of the Great Smoky Mountains Expressway, this new urgent care center brings high-quality, affordable and convenient medical care for non-life-threatening illnesses and injuries to Haywood County. Patients visiting or residing in the Waynesville area will now have access to walk-in care at a fraction of the cost of an ER visit.

Mercy Urgent Care Waynesville, located in the Publix Plaza at 124 Frazier St., Suite 6, will be the eighth Western North Carolina location for the nonprofit organization headquartered in Asheville.

In addition to services for individuals and families, Mercy Urgent Care Waynesville will offer workplace-related healthcare services through its Mercy Occupational Medicine division. Employers in or near the area can take advantage of a wide array services, from workplace screening and testing to workplace incident management. Mercy Occupational Medicine offers board-certified physicians and licensed, highly-trained personnel to meet the needs of businesses and their employees.

Mercy’s Brevard location to close for renovation April 13-23

Mercy Urgent Care Brevard announces the renovation of its current facility at 22 Trust Lane and an expansion of its open days from five currently to seven days a week beginning Wednesday, April 24.

The urgent care center and the adjoining primary care clinic, Frances Warde Family Health, will be closed for renovation from Saturday, April 13 through Tuesday, April 23. Beginning April 24, the center’s hours will be 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday-Friday and 10 a.m.-4 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.

Following the renovations, the adjoining primary care clinic, Frances Warde Family Health, will continue to operate on its current schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, from 9 a.m.-4 p.m.
