Mercy Urgent Care is thankful for many things — and, this Thanksgiving, we’re especially grateful for our attitude of gratitude.
What’s an attitude of gratitude? It’s the concept behind recognizing and appreciating the blessings in our lives, and it plays a huge role in our individual happiness. It may be easy to focus or dwell on bad circumstances, but making a regular habit of expressing thanks can lead to a healthier, more positive mindset overall. It reminds you of what makes your life great, and helps keep negative thoughts and emotions at bay.
This holiday season (and throughout the year!), Mercy challenges you to practice the same appreciation for life and love. Each day, write down (or say aloud) three things for which you’re grateful. Acknowledge your own accomplishments — or acknowledge the help and support of those around you — and let the positivity take hold.
Though it is the season for thankfulness and cheer, we hope you’ll carry this practice on into the new year (and beyond).
This Thanksgiving, Mercy Urgent Care is immensely grateful to the wonderful individuals that make up Western North Carolina — from the tireless and compassionate staff of its six urgent care facilities to its patients, communities and contributors. We’re so happy to call this beautiful slice of earth our home.
From all of us at Mercy Urgent Care, have a wonderful (and thankful) Thanksgiving.
