Save the date: On Friday, Sept. 20, 2019, Mercy Urgent Care will host its 10th annual Mercy Golf Classic fundraiser, benefitting the Catherine McAuley MERCY Foundation.
This year, the event will take place at the beautiful Etowah Valley Golf & Resort, 470 Brickyard Road, Etowah.
Check-in begins at 9:15 a.m., and tee off is at 10 a.m. with a shotgun start. Tickets for individual players are $125 each, which includes a barbecue lunch at the turn, drinks and one mulligan.
Red tees, additional mulligans and tickets to a 50/50 raffle will be available for purchase at the event. Prizes for tournament winners include a two-night stay at the Asheville Crowne Plaza Resort, along with rounds of golf at the Omni Grove Park Inn, Broadmoor, Reems Creek, Etowah Valley Country Club, Kenmure and Mount Mitchell courses.
Proceeds from the event benefit the Catherine McAuley MERCY Foundation, which provides important humanitarian work locally in Western North Carolina through Mercy Urgent Care’s Compassionate Care program, as well as international work in Haiti since 2010 and in the Philippines since 2013. Mercy’s most recent medical relief mission, to Haiti in June 2019, marked its 28th trip providing volunteer medical service to those in need.
